How does it work?
Laser hair removal works by directing a concentrated beam of light at hair follicles. The melanin in the hair absorbs the laser’s energy, damaging the follicle and preventing or reducing new hair growth.
We use the Eneka Pro 5000W — considered one of the best laser machines in the world — due to its cutting-edge technology and exceptional results.
Your consultation
We explore your goals to create a personalised treatment plan that’s just for you. You will need to have filled out a consultation form prior to visiting the clinic. During your consultation, we chat through your objectives, assess your skin and hair type, and recommend the most suitable treatment package for your needs. We shall also ensure there are no contraindications, and we’ll discuss your medical history, any medication you are taking and sun exposure.
We then do a patch test. This helps us determine the right laser settings for your safety and comfort. The patch test must be carried out at least 48 hours before your first laser treatment.
Pre-treatment care
To get the best possible results, we ask you to complete a few pre-treatment steps. Please shave the area 12 to 24 hours before your appointment. Avoid coming to your appointment wearing deodorants, creams, fake tan or cosmetics on the treatment area, and choose comfortable, loose clothes.
We want your skin to be in the best possible condition for our powerful laser to get the best possible results. Therefore, avoid intense sun exposure on the treatment area before your laser session.
At your appointment
Your appointment will take place in our beautiful, relaxing clinic at historic Damhouse. There is free parking on-site, and you can access the clinic from the back of Damhouse, just off the rear car park.
The laser hair removal process itself is quick and comfortable, and we create a tailored experience for every client. So, whether you prefer to have a chat throughout the treatment or relax quietly while zoning out after a busy week, we shape our approach around you.
Post-treatment care
Our support doesn’t stop after your session, and we provide all the information and guidance you need at every stage of your journey towards smooth, hair-free skin.
After your session, prevent sun exposure on the treatment area for seven days and avoid strenuous exercise for 48 hours. We also recommend soothing skin with aloe vera gel and to continue shaving between your sessions to maintain results. Regular exfoliation can also help to shed hairs faster.
